Pusheen gets baking thanks to new book

Fluid World expands character brand with launch of first cookbook, Let’s Bake.

The Pusheen brand has made the move into the world of cookbooks, with the launch of Let’s Bake last week.

Described as the ‘ultimate’ cookbook for Pusheen fans and cat lovers alike, Let’s Bake: A Pusheen Cookbook is a collaboration between the character’s creator, Claire Belton, and Susanne Ng.

It includes 40 recipes for sweet treats and savoury snacks, all inspired by the character.

Each recipe is either Pusheen-shaped or features the character’s face (or the faces of her friends).

“It was a pleasure to work with Susanne Ng on this beautiful book and we’re thrilled with the response,” commented Claire. “Pusheen fans are very creative, often sharing their own Pusheen baking creations on social media, so it’s a perfect fit.”

Chrissy Cowie, senior brand manager at Fluid World, added: “As the Pusheen brand continues to grow, it’s been exciting to see it expand into new and fun categories. This cookbook is a great example of how the passion of its fans has helped to lead the way.”
