Team from costume character and mascot specialist raises over £1,000 for The Light Fund.
UK costume character and mascot specialist Rainbow Productions completed the Three Peaks Challenge last weekend, raising over £1,000 in aid of The Light Fund.
The ‘Peaky Tri-ers’ – Simon Foulkes, Magdalena Foulkes, James Barlow, Kerry Tanner, Chris Stanton and Jess Lowrey – took on the challenge of climbing the three highest peaks in the UK, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
The weekend was full of ups and downs for the Rainbow team who, despite the unpleasant weather, completed the challenge with big grins on Sunday afternoon.
“Completing the challenge in just over 31 hours is an incredible accomplishment that we are proud to have undertaken for such a worthy cause,” said export manager, James Barlow. “Climbing Scafell Pike in the pitch black at night was particularly tough and our greatest reward was the stunning hike up to Snowdon’s peak.
“The views all the way were incredible and the sense of achievement once we all reached the peak for the team photo was something none of us will forget.”
