Show sparked serious interest from across the globe, says company.
Santoro has hailed this year’s Brand Licensing Europe as its most successful licensing show yet.
The company says that the show – which was held at London’s Olympia last month – has sparked serious interest from across the globe in the Gorjuss brand, and it came away with over 100 ‘top quality’ leads.
From the Far East, discussions are well under way following swift proposals from China, as well as for Gorjuss promotions in Taiwan. In South America, strong interest has come in for representation of Gorjuss in Mexico and in Argentina there is particular interest in books, publishing and collectables, which is being mirrored in Russia and Australia.
Back in Europe, and publishers in Eastern Europe and Spain are working on magazines, books and collectables for Gorjuss, while Santoro is opening discussions in Germany for further Gorjuss representation. Leads have also emerged for more Gorjuss food products including cakes, pastries and biscuits.
In addition to Gorjuss, there is also interest in Poppi Loves, Mirabelle and Santoro’s newest introduction, Felines.
Meanwhile, Santoro is also celebrating picking up an award for its Gorjuss Water Bottles – produced by Hijos de Rivera – at the 2018 Global Bottled Water Awards.
The bottles – of which there are eight designs, each with different Gorjuss character artwork, representing an emotion or experience – collected the Best New Brand/Brand Extension award.
