Smiley luxury pop-up experience hits Macau

Opulent Pearl Lobby turned into a lavish showroom-meets-pop-up.

The Smiley Company has partnered with Galaxy Macau this summer for an initiative which will see the opulent Pearl Lobby transformed into a lavish showroom-meets-pop-up.

The first of its kind SmileyWorld promotion in Macau will include fun art installations including a 7.5 metre LED light pillar and a SmileyWorld chair.

The initiative runs from today (July 20) through to September 26.

“As one of the top global licensing brands, we are pleased to partner with Galaxy Macau to transform The Promenade Shops into a happy summer wonderland, filled with fun SmileyWorld themed installations and cool Smiley products in the first-ever Smiley pop-up supported by exclusive resort-wide promotions,” said Nicolas Loufrani, ceo and founder of The Smiley Company.

“This special partnership will give shoppers the opportunity to truly experience and share a happy fun filled summer celebration.”

Hazel Wong, assistant senior vice president of retail for Galaxy Macau, added: “Welcoming SmileyWorld to Macau with the first-ever Smiley pop-up and resort-wide promotions is a spectacular way for us to share the spirit of summer with everyone; bringing hours of excitement and fun shopping to our visitors.”
