Smyths Toys readies for World Book Day

Retailer promoting range of licensed dress up outfits and books ahead of March 3.

Smyths Toys is getting into the spirit for the upcoming World Book Day on March 3, unveiling a wide range of licensed costumes in-store and online.

The toy retailer is promoting dress up for characters including Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, the Power Rangers, Iron Man, Disney Princess, Spider-Man, Batman, Elsa and Anna from Disney’s Frozen, Harry Potter and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles among others.

Alongside the dress up, Smyths is promoting a wide range of books in the lead up to the big day.

These include a raft of Star Wars themed books – including LEGO Star Wars – as well as Paw Patrol, Minecraft, Bing, Inside Out and Disney character stories.

World Book Day takes place on Thursday March 3.
