Collectable toys available in the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Middle East.
Peanuts Worldwide has teamed up with McDonald’s in a deal which sees Snoopy star in Happy Meals in key territories.
The Snoopy McDonald’s Happy Meal programme rolls out in over 30,000 McDonald’s beginning in the US earlier this week.
In addition, the promotion is available in millions of McDonald’s in dozens of territories throughout Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East.
In the US, there are ten toys to collect. Each toy features a unique hands-on Snoopy activity – from a rockin’ and rollin’ Flying Ace to the world-famous author typing on his typewriter – and comes with a clip so it can be hung on bags and belts.
The toys can also be scanned using a smart phone or tablet to unlock exclusive online Peanuts content on the free McPlay app. With Snoopy as their online video guide, children can become entertainers, cartoonists, and inventors among other creative roles.
“With its unrivaled expertise in both toy and digital design, the McDonald’s team has placed Snoopy at the center of a truly immersive Happy Meal experience,” said Roz Nowicki, evp at Peanuts Worldwide. “These toys reflect the joy and ingenuity that has always been at the heart of Charles Schulz’s creation.”
