Swizzels brand expands further with plush deal

Posh Paws and Whitehouse Leisure on board with confectionery brand.

Swizzels brands including Love Hearts, Drumsticks and Refreshers will be making their way into the world of plush, after Blonde Sheep Licensing secured a deal with Posh Paws and Whitehouse Leisure.

The new deal will see Posh Paws targeting wider retail, while Whitehouse Leisure will target the leisure industry.

Products are due to launch in autumn/winter 2019.

“We are thrilled to be working with Swizzels to create a range of branded plush products,” said Posh Paws’ marketing manager, Laura Bull. “With 90 years of heritage we cannot wait to start working with some of the best-known confectionery brands.”

Natasha Dyson, md of Blonde Sheep Licensing, added: “Posh Paws international and Whitehouse Leisure offer full coverage of the retail market and have some really fun ideas for the plush. The products will reflect the  sentiment of the brands while also following current trends.”

Blonde Sheep Licensing is also investigating other opportunities for Swizzels in categories including home, food, apparel, accessories and social greetings.
