The Little Prince ventures into the gaming space

Medialink Group is collaborating with NetEase Games on an appearance from the classic character in Sky: Children of the Light.

Medialink Group – the exclusive agent for The Little Prince brand in Asia – is teaming with NetEase Games for the launch of a new seasonal digital game featuring the classic character.

The appearance in Sky: Children of the Light – which was originally released in 2019 and has notched up numerous awards worldwide – marks the first time that Medialink is collaborating on a global game featuring the brand.

The game is expected to launch in the summer in China and then globally to around 156 countries and regions including (but not limited to) Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America, South America and Africa.

Jenova Chen, producer of Sky: Children of the Light, said that some of his inspiration in creating the game came from the feelings he had after reading The Little Prince. In the game, the character and the Child of the Light will travel across a vast dune and gaze at the starlit universe in the moonlight.

Jenova also revealed in a NetEase Connect conference earlier this month that The Little Prince will be a guest in the game world in the future and he hoped that ‘every player can experience the bonding and warmth between people through this wonderful adventure’.
