“There is a general nervousness on the high street”

Blueprint’s Lisa Shand highlights the positives and negatives in the remainder of 2019.

2019 has already been an eventful year, but arguably there’s more drama to come.

Source catches up with a selection of licensees to ask what they feel are both the positives and the challenges that lie ahead for the remainder of the year.

Today: Lisa Shand, md, Blueprint Collections

“Positives for us are that L.O.L. Surprise is holding up really well at retail and continues to hold good listings in the girls’ area. We have also had a great early response to National Geographic for which the product has an eco-friendly message wherever possible.

Our David Walliams collection is about to go live and we have good expectations for this running up to Christmas.

The negatives are the general nervousness on the high street, coupled with weak exchange rates makes trading very challenging at the moment.”
