Panini and Umbro Brazil have teamed up on the launch of two new exclusive drops, combining football and fashion.
Following on from Panini’s major sticker album launch for the FIFA World Cup 2022, the new collaboration with Umbro Brazil will include clothing and accessories that combine the love of football and the tradition of both brands, with a unique style developed in partnership.
The deal was brokered by Vertical Licensing, the agency which represents Panini in the territory.
The product lines include caps, bucket hats, t-shirts, jackets, pants, shorts, skirts, shoulder bags, socks, trainers and a backpack featuring stickers that refer to different national teams around the world.
The first collection – Umbro x Panini Legends – features black as the main colour, with white, green and red details and graphics. The Panini logo, which refers to a photo of Carlo Parola, a defender at Juventus during the 1950s, is also featured. The volley given by the player was immortalised by the company and represents attributes such as talent, skill, elegance and grace.
Meanwhile, the second collection – Umbro x Panini Fun – explores more colours, with the pieces referring to stickers from different countries, as well as tactical formations that simulate ‘dream teams’ assembled by collectors, mixing players from different nationalities. Umbro’s logo also gains a new face, while the historic symbol of Panini’s bicycle kick is also present – both in compositions with Umbro’s double diamond and in t-shirts that refer to Brazil, Italy and England.
