Visitor boost for Nuremberg Toy Fair

This year’s show saw 70,714 visitors walk through the doors.

This year’s Nuremberg Toy Fair has reported an increase in overall and international visitor numbers.

In total, 70,714 visitors attended the show – which ran from Wednesday January 27 to Monday February 1 – up from 70,084 in 2015.

International visitors, meanwhile, grew to 41,284 (2015: 40,420), attending from 125 different countries.

While, perhaps unsurprisingly, Germany came out top in terms of visitor numbers, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK all had strong contingents.

The number of international exhibitors also grew this year, reaching 2,070 (2015: 2,051).

The 2017 Spielwarenmesse will run from February 1-6.
