Westfield London hosts ‘NBA Crossover’ event

Event was held in conjunction with Foot Locker and video game, NBA 2K19.

A special event created to showcase the convergence of NBA and popular culture has proved a hit at Westfield London.

Held in conjunction with retailer Foot Locker and upcoming video game, NBA 2K19, the NBA Crossover event ran across the weekend of August 10-12.

An immersive exhibition featured a section on ‘style’ and how players have become trendsetting fashion icons from the court to front covers and catwalks, reported Promo Marketing.

Other zones put the spotlight on the sport’s influence on music, art, film and celebrity.

In addition, there were virtual reality experiences and fans got the chance to have photos with the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy. This is currently held by San Francisco’s Golden State Warriors.
