Wonder Woman 1984 lines arrive ahead of movie

Warner Bros. Consumer Products unveils new collection of lifestyle products and experiences inspired by film.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has launched a new collection of lifestyle products and experiences inspired by the eagerly anticipated Wonder Woman 1984.

A raft of products – from fashion, jewellery and accessories, through to toys, home goods and pet products – will feature nods to the film’s new 1980’s aesthetic, plus Wonder Woman’s nemesis The Cheetah and the metallic sheen of her new golden armour.

The movie is due to open in cinemas in October 2020.

“Wonder Woman 1984 gives us the ideal opportunity to celebrate the glamour and energy of the 1980s inspired by the power and grace of Wonder Woman,” said Maryellen Zarakas, senior vice president of franchise management and marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. “Our signature collection of products and experiences are highly-styled and wonderfully-inventive, and allow fans to tap into their own heroic, Wonder Woman inner spirit, further deepening their engagement in the brand and global community of Wonder Woman fans.”

The WW84 fashion collection includes collaborations with designers and trendsetters including Lauren Ralph Lauren, EleVen by Venus Williams, Her Universe, Zara, Bershka and Miu Miu among others. Items range from activewear, plus-sized apparel and tees, through to t-shirts decorated with vintage prints.

Jewellery collections will launch from Swarovski and RockLove among others; Reebok is releasing WW84-inspired shoes and apparel (blending 80’s silhouettes with designs inspired by the hero and villain of the film); Loungefly will have purses; while there are hero-themed masks from Love Your Melon.

In the beauty space, there is a Revlon x WW84 limited edition make-up collection which includes a power palette for eyes and face, as well as lipstick and highlighter.

Hallmark is honouring Wonder Woman’s strength with a range of ‘go strong all day long’ frame quotes, travel mugs and vinyl tote bags, while GB eye is offering an assortment of Wonder Woman prints, posters and collectables.

Fans can also treat their pets with a range of luxury pet fashion and accessories.

In the kids/tween space, Rubie’s, Mattel, LEGO, Funko, McFarlane Toys and Maxx will be launching dress-up and toy/collectable lines.

In addition to CP, there is also a DC Wonder Woman Virtual Run. Taking place in partnership with Rugged Races, participants pledge to run 5k or 10k to receive an exclusive collection of Wonder Woman-branded gear.
