Wow Stuff strengthens team with new hire

Innovative toy licensee welcomes new head of global trade marketing.

Innovative toy licensee Wow Stuff is adding more people to the fold as it expands its operations in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Sunny Walia (pictured) has joined the company as head of global trade marketing and will be responsible for the execution of Wow Stuff’s in-store marketing programmes including video screen deployment and other activities.

Sunny joins the company from Tesco where she held senior global roles in general merchandise and beauty. Prior to Tesco, she worked for both international and UK-based retailers.

“Sunny is an exceptional talent and human being,” enthused Richard North, ceo of Wow Stuff. “She fits with our ethos and company strapline of bringing ‘Great brands to life!’ in innovative and exciting new ways. Our sales per square foot at retail continue to climb and Sunny will take up our new in-store marketing and experiential activities working closely with our retail partners.”
