Your Licensing Awards experience starts here

A sneak peek at the finishing touches which will make tomorrow’s big night extra special.

With just over 24 hours to go until The Licensing Awards 2018, we thought we’d give you a sneak peak at just some of the details which will give tomorrow night’s event that added sparkle.

As you head into The Grosvenor – clutching your ticket gorgeously designed by Hallmark – you will be greeted by Bing and Flop in the cloakroom area (thanks Acamar) before heading into foyer entranceway, transformed into a Barbie world as part of her 60th birthday celebrations (courtesy of Mattel).

Amscan will have lent its magic touch to the drinks reception so you can get the evening off to a sterling start.

There will be no need to worry about finding your seat, with Fashion UK sponsoring the illuminated table plans.

Once at your table – with numbers sponsored by 24IP and Pokémon and Character World dressing the seats and Rick and Morty sponsoring the placecards – there is bound to be a bit of ‘hair raising’ action over who gets to take home the Trolls table centrepiece (thanks Universal).

The menu cards – created by Hallmark – will be a feast for the eyes, while the wine bottles will be adorned by collars from Alpha Group and Kinnerton will be providing a sweet ending to the meal.

Forgotten your pen for those all important raffle tickets? Worry not, as Funko is a ‘head’ of you on that one with some great Marvel and Disney pen toppers.

The Great Room itself will be dressed up to the nines – matching you lot in your black ties and posh frocks. Hasbro graphics will adorn the perimeter, while on the big screen, emoji is sponsoring the Twitter wall.

The walk up music this year comes from Bravado and, when nature calls, Corsair has decked out the ladies and gents toilets with Love Island and Umbro themes.

As ever, there are some great prizes to be won in the raffle, with Super Wings flying high by sponsoring the raffle envelopes, as well as another vital element of the event – the Goody Bag voucher.

Once again suitable stuffed, Character World has produced the keepsake sack.

After the awards – hosted this year by Rory Bremner – there will be the chance to hit the dance floor with Freight Train, carry on the banter in the main rink bar (thanks to Nickelodeon), take a turn in the Smiffy’s photobooth or chance your luck on the tables at the Bioworld International Casino.

Then don’t forget to pick up your bumper goody bag before continuing the fun at the After Bar Bar, open until 5am at The Loop Bar and sponsored by Powerstation Studios.

And for those of you who can’t join us, the winners will be revealed in real-time over on Twitter – simply follow @LicensingAwards and #LicensingAwards18.
