Your Licensing Awards 2019 experience starts here

A sneak peek at the finishing touches which will make tomorrow’s big night extra special.

With just over 24 hours to go until The Licensing Awards 2019, we thought we’d give you a sneak peak at just some of the details which will give tomorrow night’s event that added sparkle.

As you head into The Grosvenor – clutching your ticket gorgeously designed by Hallmark – prepared to be ‘Wow-ed’ as Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Wow Stuff have joined forces to provide a magical pre-entranceway and cloakroom experience…

Then, sashay through the glamorous Barbie entranceway (thanks Mattel) who, fresh from her 60th birthday celebrations, is still looking as fresh as ever.

Amscan will have lent its magic touch to the drinks reception so you can get the evening off to a sterling start.

There will be no need to worry about finding your seat, with Fashion UK sponsoring the illuminated table plans.

Once at your table, you can trust the numbers (they are sponsored by licensing law specialist 24IP after all) and the Peppa Pig placecards (sponsored and produced by IG Design Group) are ‘blooming’ great as they have been impregnated with wildflower seeds.

There is bound to be a bit of a battle over the limited edition centerpiece (sponsored by Mattel), while The Licensing Awards 2019 Top Trumps cards  have been inventively produced by Winning Moves.

Forgotten your pen for those all important raffle tickets? Don’t fret, as Funko has that covered.

Meanwhile, it’s not just the guests who will be wonderfully attired, as the seats will be well dressed with Pikachu’s happy face (thanks Pokémon and Character World), the napkins are adorned and the wine glasses collared (thanks to Smiffys), while Phippsters coffee has the wine bottles wrapped up.

With The Grosvenor’s head chef having created a meal that goes to ‘infinity and beyond’, Hallmark has created a Toy Story 4 menu card to match, while Kinnerton will be providing a sweet ending to the meal.

You’ll be all eyes and ears for what is going on in The Great Room. Guests will be surrounded by Universal graphics on the perimeter, while on the big screen, emoji is sponsoring the Twitter wall. The walk up music comes from Bravado while, when nature calls the gents will be transformed into a Peaky Blinders den and the ladies becomes a Baby Shark boudoir (thanks to Corsair).

As ever, there are some great prizes to be won in the raffle, with Alpha Animation & Toys helping you decide on your table captains. Meanwhile, Kids Insight will be putting everyone’s mettle to the test with a fun ‘higher or lower’ elimination quiz, while the winner of the Beano 2019 Funniest Licensing Joke will be revealed.

Another ‘winning ticket’ is the Goody Bag voucher (sponsored by Expose Travel) which you will need to redeem your own bulging sack crammed full of goodies, with Character World doing the honours in producing the keepsake sack.

Once the awards are finished, DJ duo Freight Train will be hitting the decks, while you can visit the Sparkle Station (sponsored by H&A), carry on the banter in the main rink bar and take a turn in the Smiffys photobooth.

You can also live life in the e-fast lane with Formula E and TSBA Group presenting ‘Electric Street Racing at The Licensing Awards’. EJ the DJ will be spinning the tunes, as guests race the streets of iconic global cities. You can race against colleagues on the immersive electric racing simulators to be in with a chance of winning hospitality tickets to the 2020 London ePrix. You can also take a selfie with a real Formula E car that will be parked just under the balcony next to the downstairs bar area.

Fancy a flutter? Then take to the tables in the Casino area by cashing in your Bioworld International voucher for chips, with some great prizes to be won.

And that’s still not all… back by public demand, the After Bar Bar is being held once again at the Loop nightclub which will be ready and waiting for Licensing Awards attendees only from 1am… and open until 6am (sponsored by PowerStation Studios).
