Big names back Light Fund Golf Day

There’s still time to sign up for May 12 event in aid of industry charity.

A number of big name companies have pledged their support to next month’s golf day in aid of The Light Fund – and there’s still time for you to join them.

The event takes place on Thursday May 12 at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club, Leek Wootton, Warwick.

Companies taking part so far include Character Options, eOne, Tesco, Cooneen, DRi Licensing, Nickelodeon, Ty UK, Brands In, 20th Century Fox, Amuzo Games, Roy Lowe & Sons, Carlton Publishing, Lisle International, Mothercare, FremantleMedia, Turner (Cartoon Network), Spearmark, ITV Studios, Blues Clothing and AT New Media.

Both experienced players and beginners can attend, with separate challenges having been set up for each.

Coffee/tea and bacon rolls will be available on arrival, before the experienced players go on to have a shot gun start.

The format will see teams of four take on 18 hole Better Ball Stableford on the Earls course. There will be prizes for Longest Drive Challenge, Nearest the Pin Par 3 Challenge and Beat the Pro Challenge.

Meanwhile, the beginners will have a golf lesson on the driving range and putting green, plus a Texas scramble game of golf on the nine hole beginners course after lunch.

A two course dinner in the evening will be followed by a presentation to the successful teams and individuals.

Tickets are £150 each.
