Emily Brooks looking to grow licensing roster

Artist set to welcome stationery, gift and kitchenware after greeting cards debut.

Artist Emily Brooks is looking to grow her footprint in the licensing space following a successful greeting card launch with The Art File at PG Live last month.

The Art File was the first licensee to sign up the brand, which Emily single-handedly built up thanks to showcases at Top Drawer and Pulse, plus retail distribution in Liberty, Paperchase, Oliver Bonas and Urban Outfitters in just over a year of business.

She won ‘Exciting Use Of Colour’ at the Top Drawer Paper Awards, was shortlisted for the Stylist Live Retail Awards and acquired a strong Instagram following due to her positive and amusing social media content.

The Art File launched the cards to the wider market at PG Live in June. It represents 24 of Emily’s bestselling designs, as well as three exclusive designs.

On top of this, Emily has also signed with Portico Designs for stationery and gift, plus My Gifts Trade for kitchenware. She is also in negotiations with other licensees on further ranges.
