October 2022: Apparel & Accessories

In the first of the new Featuring… monthly special focuses from LicensingSource.net, we take a look at the apparel and accessories sector.

The 2022 Global Licensing Industry Study from trade body, Licensing International, shows that apparel is the largest product category with a 14.3% share.

Further data from The Insights Family also underlines the importance of the category in the eyes of consumers. Over the last 12 months, 23% of 10-12s in the UK have reported buying clothing in relation to their favourite TV shows and films, with this growing by 67% over the same period…
