HEAD Sport welcomes SportLife Brands as licensee

Underwear, sleepwear and loungewear will launch in the US in 2017.

HEAD Sport is continuing to grow its licensing programme – securing a deal with SportLife Brands for branded underwear, sleepwear and loungewear in the US.

The multi-year deal covers basics, thermals and performance underwear, lounge and sleepwear products for men, women and children.

The licence begins on January 1, 2017, with the first products hitting stores by April 2017.

“SportLife Brands is the perfect group to manage the growth of the iconic HEAD branded underwear and loungewear with a serious focus back into the market,” said Giuseppe Faranna, vp division manager licensing at HEAD Sport GmbH.

“The company has gained extensive experience and celebrated continuous success over the past years in the category, and we see a very positive future in this new partnership.”

SportLife president, Michael Kassin, added: “The HEAD brand has a rich history, it has always been dedicated to creating high-performance products.

“We look forward to continuing that trend with our HEAD underwear, loungewear and sleepwear products. We are excited to maximise on the brand’s heritage and continue the current momentum at retail and grow this new category.”
