Helen Skelton lends her voice to new Fireman Sam series

Classic preschool brand, Fireman Sam is back for a 15th series from 21 October, with Blue Peter and Countryfile presenter, Helen Skelton, making her debut in Pontypandy.

There are 26 new episodes including a Halloween double episode in the latest series, brought to life by Mattel Television and WildBrain. The iconic Pontypandy locations, rescue vehicles and characters all return, and are also joined by Penny’s cousin, Farmer Annie Morris – voiced by Helen – and the new location of her farm.

Speaking about her new role of Annie Morris, Helen said: “I’m thrilled to be a part of the Fireman Sam family and lend my voice to the spirited character of Farmer Annie Morris. This series is packed with adventures and important life lessons for kids, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

Joining Annie will be Boars, Luc and Karl, helping her to teach the children and residents about rewilding. Pontypandy also welcomes more furry friends including a seal, beavers and Penny’s sassy cat, Miss Pawdry. Jupiter is also given a refresh, with cutting edge technology and a brand new look.

The new series will air exclusively on Cartoonito.
