Licensed names make a date at The Calies 2018

Danilo, Carousel Calendars and Pyramid International among the winners at this year’s awards.

The winners of The Calies 2018 were revealed on Wednesday evening, with a number of licensed names walking away with accolades.

Held at London’s Stationers’ Hall on Wednesday November 28, the event recognises and rewards excellence right across the spectrum – from retail calendar titles to B2B bespoke creations; diaries to Advents.

Danilo collected a number of awards including Best Animal Kingdom Calendar for BBC Blue Planet 2; Best Music, Talent or Sports Calendar for David Bowie Collector’s Edition; Best Entertainment or Humorous Calendar for Star Wars Deluxe Calendar (pictured above); and Best Desk Calendar for its Rick and Morty Magic Cube.

In addition, Pyramid International was presented with the award for Best Licensed Diary for Winnie the Pooh.

Among its award wins, Carousel Calendars picked up the accolade for Best Charity Calendar for its RSPB Ailsa Black Naturally Organised Family Calendar.
