Licensed products shine at Gift of the Year awards

Enesco wins Branded Gift category, while My Icon Story and Wow Stuff among those Highly Commended.

A number of licensed names were celebrating after this year’s Gift of the Year Awards.

Held on Sunday evening (February 2), following the first day of Spring Fair at Birmingham’s NEC, the event has a dedicated Brand Gift category in which Enesco was victorious with its Beatrix Potter Baby Collection.

The Gift Association’s Chris Workman and Stacey Foster presented the accolade to Wendy Addison, Enesco’s licensing manager (pictured second right).

In addition, fast growing My Icon Story picked up another Highly Commended award, this time for its Mr Men Little Miss Love Couples range. Wow Stuff’s Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak and Big Potato Games’ Blockbuster game were also both Highly Commended.

The Yvonne Ellen brand was also celebrated with a Highly Commended in the Fashion Accessory category for the Eclectic Glamour Beauty Range from My Gifts Trade.

The brand also picked up a Highly Commended in the Home Fragrance category for the Wax Lyrical Stacking Candles.
