Next launches Cath Kidston x Paddington collaboration

Two quintessentially British brands have come together for a new collaboration this spring, with Cath Kidston launching a new Paddington collaboration from 15 May.

The SS24 range is the first chapter in a bespoke series crafted for the adventures of the nation’s much-loved, marmalade-eating bear.

The collection sees Paddington join Cath Kidston for a visit to London. Artfully combining the original 1950’s illustrations by Peggy Fortnum with Cath’s own reimagined archive, the collection explores Paddington’s favourite London spots in a series of intricate, hand-painted prints rich in narrative and detail.

Items in the collection – which launches exclusively at Next in the UK on 15 May, plus Cath Kidston stores in Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and Korea and on NEXT online globally – include apparel, homewares, bags and pyjamas.

“We are very happy to unveil this unique collaboration with Cath Kidston inspired by the original Paddington drawings by Peggy Fortnum,” commented Rachel Clarke, svp licensing and retail UK. “A celebration of Paddington and Cath Kidston’s British Heritage with a modern twist which will delight all generations.”
