Paladone’s Batman Egg Cup & Toast Cutter wins Branded/Character category.
A number of licensed lines walked away victorious from last night’s Gift of the Year 2016 competition, held after the first day of Spring Fair.
Presented by designer Cath Kidston, the awards covered the gifting, stationery and homewares categories.
Licensees picking up prizes included Paladone Products, which scooped the Branded/Character prize for its innovative Batman Egg Cup & Toaster Cutter.
Gibsons Games was highly commended in the same category for its Marmite puzzles.
In addition, Burgon & Ball won the Garden and Outdoor Living category with its Sophie Conran Seed Collections, while Wax Lyrical took home the Home Fragrance prize with the Fired Earth Candle Tin in Assam and White Cedar.
Hot Novelty was awarded to Ginger Fox for its Star Wars Millennium Falcon Multi Tool.
Meanwhile, licensing newcomer iBeani was highly commended in the Home Accessories category for its tablet bean bag stand.
