Poetic Brands to launch Care Bears-inspired apparel and accessories

Poetic Brands has welcomed classic brand Care Bears to its portfolio, securing a deal to create babywear and accessories, maternity wear, family apparel, footwear and luggage.

Using the extensive brand style guides, Poetic will bring the colours and warmth of the brand to the wide ranging collection which will be available at retailers across the UK later this year.

The deal was secured by Bulldog Licensing, which manages licensing for Care Bears in the UK on behalf of brand owner, Cloudco.

“The combination of beautiful imagery, global awareness and a timeless message of love and empathy makes Care Bears a significant brand – and one we are thrilled to be working with,” commented Elliott Matthews, md at Poetic Brands. “I’m certain this collection will enjoy great success at retail.”

Sophie Yates, brand manager at Bulldog Licensing, added: “Care Bears is loved by all generations 0 and all generations will welcome this wonderful new range. We are delighted to be working with Poetic Brands, a respected and admired company whose success in licensed apparel for all generations makes it an ideal partner.”
