Power Rangers gets the Minecraft treatment

Special Skin Pack launches on the Xbox Games Store featuring characters.

The Power Rangers brand has been given the Minecraft treatment, with a special Skin Pack launching on the Xbox Games Store this week.

The pack includes all five of the original Rangers, plus further characters from the classic series including villains such as Rita Repulsa, Bulk and Skull.

Fans can purchase and download the pack for £2.39.

Meanwhile, the new Power Rangers movie got off to a strong start at the UK box office, debuting at number two, just behind Beauty and the Beast.

The reboot took $2 million (£1.57m) from 478 sites, according to Screen Daily.
