Progressive Preschool Award winners crowned

A number of licensed names picked up accolades at yesterday’s glittering ceremony.

A number of licensed names were among the winners at yesterday’s Progressive Preschool Awards 2017.

Held at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Thursday, November 9, the event was attended by over 400 guests and was hosted by comedian Jo Caulfield.

Licensed winners included Blues Clothing, which picked up Best Preschool Apparel and Accessories Range for its Peppa Pig Baby range.

In addition, Signature Gifts went home with Best Preschool Gift Range for its Peter Rabbit Little Guides.

Centum Books was awarded Best Preschool Reading or Writing Range for its Play-Doh Activity Books, while the In the Night Garden and RHS collaboration picked up the Best Preschool Marketing Award.

Publishing director Rob Willis commented: “It is a pleasure for us to be able to join the dots of the preschool sector, as over 400 people chose to celebrate their achievements together, from both product and retail, across multiple specialisms – toy, nursery, apparel, gift, publishing and, of course, licensing.”
