The Royal Horticultural Society has revealed a new collaboration with garden furniture maker, Sitting Spiritually – a new swing seat which celebrates both the seasons and the 20th anniversary of the company.
Drawing inspiration from the bestselling RHS Four Seasons Bench which launched in 2022, the RHS Four Seasons Swing Seat is described as being a ‘celebration’ of the UK’s affection for the changing seasons.
Made with premium-quality FSC oak, the seat is available in two different frame types – Tranquillity or Kyokusen – and with four variations highlighted by seasonal back styles in the form of hand-carved inserts: daffodil, summer rose, the oak and acorn, and the snowdrop.
A range of accessories – from embedded ammonites to drinks shelves – are also available to complement the seat.
“The RHS Four Seasons Swing Seat is a worthy addition to a highly successful partnership and a perfect way to celebrate our 20th anniversary as a leader in the design of bespoke garden furniture,” commented Martin Young, founder of Sitting Spiritually. “Our thanks to the RHS for supporting and inspiring us. Long may this partnership continue.”
Cathy Snow, licensing manager at the RHS, continued: “Sitting Spiritually’s new RHS-inspired and endorsed swing seat celebrates not just the ever-changing visual splendour of the seasons – which it does with breathtaking skill – but the 20th anniversary of one of this country’s finest garden furniture makers. We are delighted to be partnering with this byword for British craftsmanship during this memorable anniversary.”
