This is Iris is all at sea with Avril Greenaway

This is Iris has secured a new partnership with artist and ocean advocate, Avril Greenaway.

Based in Bude, the central theme of Avril’s work is the ocean, both celebrating and campaigning to protect it using a number of different mediums. Avril started working with Cleaner Seas Project in 2013 and now runs it using her artwork to create awareness about plastic pollution and climate change. As well as photography and illustration, she works in microplastics found on her local beach.

“With Iris being based here in the South West, it’s impossible not to be aware of the amazing work Avril has been doing with Cleaner Seas Project over the past eight years,” said the agency’s Sarah Lawrence.

“We’re excited to announce that our very first partnership is with Animal Planet magazine, one of the leading children’s magazine which is fully sustainable and with a reach of 396 million; it is the perfect platform to share Avril’s passion for change.”
