Widdop & Co gears up for 140th anniversary celebrations

Gifting and homeware specialist, Widdop & Co is ready to mark a major milestone in 2023 – the 140th anniversary of the company.

The company – was established in 1883 by William Widdop and remains within the family today – has welcomed a host of new licences to its portfolio this year – teaming up with LicensingSource.net to preview what’s coming up in the months ahead.

New additions to the portfolio include high profile names such as Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, DC, Paramount and Hasbro, while Widdop & Co will also be highlighting greeting cards company Raspberry Bloom and watercolour artist Meg Hawkins.

In addition, following Widdop’s acquisition in the summer of Apples to Pears, long-term plans are in process to start licensing within craft and build-your-own kits, as well as the Gift in a Tin category.
