Cluedo immersive experience on the way from The Path Entertainment Group

The Path Entertainment Group has expanded its licensing deal with Hasbro following the success of Monopoly Lifesized in London.

The evolution of the relationship sees Path Entertainment expand its licence with Hasbro, creating a major entertainment concept with one of the company’s most popular board games – Cluedo – transforming the IP into a real-life, immersive competitive social experience, Cluedo Lifesized.

“Monopoly Lifesized has enjoyed two very successful years in London already, showcasing the power of the brand with the creative thinking at Path Entertainment – and has gone on to be successfully sub-licensed in the KSA, as we continue to rollout the experience internationally,” commented David Hutchinson, ceo at The Path Entertainment Group. “From the start of our relationship with Hasbro we’ve always felt Cluedo was a natural IP for us to explore – it’s innately theatrical, and combined with its nostalgic family favourite mystery origins – it’s the perfect brand for our team to play with and create a new thrilling, location-based entertainment concept. We’re very excited to bring this to life in an ambitious new lifesized concept.”

Matt Proulx, vp of global experiences, partnerships and music at Hasbro, continued: “At Hasbro, our goal is to provide gaming experiences that are fun to play, fun to watch and fun to share for fans of all ages. In joining forces with Path Entertainment, we’re able to deliver on this and more with innovative and immersive versions of fan-favourite games.

“Fan response has been overwhelming for Monopoly Lifesized, so it was a no-brainer to reimagine another iconic Hasbro Gaming property as a large as life experience with Cluedo Lifesized. Coming off the heels of this year’s refreshed Cluedo board game release and just in time for the brand’s 75th anniversary in 2024, fans will be able to put their investigative skills to the test as they sleuth to uncover answers to the game’s famous questions – who, where and with what.”

Opened in November 2021, Monopoly Lifesized has welcomed over 160,000 guests to date. Path Entertainment has also developed and produced the SAW: Escape Experience London and The Paddington Bear Experience, which will open in London’s County Hall.
