McDonald’s and Crocs team for first ever collaboration

Food and fashion fans have a new collaboration to help elevate their look, with McDonald’s and Crocs unveiling a limited edition collection.

The brand mash-up officially launched yesterday (14 November) and includes a Hamburger Classic Clog, a Grimace Cozzzy Sandal and a Birdie Classic Clog. There are also matching socks for each clog, as well as a Jibbitz five-pack themed around some iconic McDonald’s staples such as the Big Mac, the McNuggets carton, McDonald’s World-Famous Fries, the legendary Golden Arches and the McDonald’s Cup.

The limited edition line-up will come included with every pair or they can be purchased as a pack of five for £20.

“We’re constantly blown away by the way our fans show off their love for McDonald’s, and as it turns out, Crocs’ fanbase is just as passionate,” commented Molly McKenna, senior director of brand communications at McDonald’s. “We’re excited to team up with Crocs – another brand that’s deeply embedded in culture – on our first-ever global shoe collab.”

As part of the launch, Fion Capener, assistant manager at the McDonald’s Newtown restaurant in Wales, won the chance to travel to Chicago to become one of the global faces of the McDonald’s x Crocs campaign.
