McDonald’s launches new Paddington Happy Meal

The Copyrights Group and McDonald’s have teamed up to launch the first ever Paddington Happy Meal.

The collaboration – which launches today (29 June) in all UK and Ireland stores and for pick up or McDelivery and runs until 2 August – features themed packaging, a range of ten Paddington toys featuring the character in new outfits and a choice of two books from HarperCollins’ Children’s based on The Adventures of Paddington TV series (The Magic Trick and The Monster Hunt).

Inspired by Paddington’s values of kindness and curiosity, the offer aims to encourage children to follow their hearts and to wholeheartedly embrace new experiences.

The ‘I Believe Bears’ campaign introduces a diverse and inclusive range of aspirational and imaginative Paddington toys including a dancer, magician and astronaut among others.

Paddington activity sheets and games are also available online on McDonald’s Family Fun Hub.

The Adventures of Paddington Happy Meal toys and in-store communications were designed by McDonald’s long-term partner, customer engagement agency, the Marketing Store.
