Art Ask Agency has revealed the launch of the first licensed products for IA London – The Art of Fashion. The avant-garde fashion brand is an emerging talent on the London fashion scene and was launched as a licence at last year’s Brand Licensing Europe. A large collection of licensed art prints in partnership with Rosenstiels has been well received by buyers, with the ten pieces taking inspiration from IA London’s AW 2019 and SS 2019 runway pieces. Meanwhile, Flame Tree Publishing has launched 2021 calendars and two deluxe foil notebooks from the Symptoms of Gravity line. Pre-sales have gone well and plans for the 2022 calendar are already underway.

MGM has teamed with Pantone Color Institute for the first ever Pink Panther Pink colour. The new shade – which is a vibrant hue with undertones of blue and yellow – has been designed to embody the ‘playful, charismatic and charming’ aspects of the character’s personality.

Disney UK has launched a new weekly quiz – called The Happiest Quiz on Earth – which takes place every Thursday at 7pm on the company’s Facebook page. Hosted by broadcaster Edith Bowman, each week will see three rounds of Disney-themed quiz questions, with guests playing at home to win shopDisney prize bundles.

Guru Studio has appointed Licensing Street to represent its newest preschool series, Pikwik Pack. The 2D animation is due to air on Disney Junior in the US in Q1 2021. Playmates Toys is already on board as the global master toy partner, while Scholastic is handling US publishing. Licensing Street will represent the brand in the US across all CP categories including apparel, home, accessories, party decorations, games and live events.

Bespoke 77 Innovations has launched its Alice in Wonderland range of Made in Britain fine bona china. The collection includes mugs, cups and saucers, dinner plates, dessert plates, a tea pot, cream jug, sugar bowl and cake stand.

emoji has renewed its partnership for the second time with La Poste. The collaboration includes 60 emoji digital stamps which are now available at laposte.fr to print and collect until the end of 2020. The stamps feature an array of emoji brand icons. The deal was brokered by WildBrain CPLG.

Sagoo is gearing up to join Licensing Week Virtual next week. As one of the sponsors of the digital event – which runs from June 15-19 – Sagoo will be exhibiting brands including Rilakkuma, Keith Haring, Care Bears, Miffy, Emily the Strange and a number of music brands. It will also be announcing some new properties throughout the show.

Spotlight Licensing has confirmed Bonavista Optics is to create a Downton Abbey-inspired line of custom sunglasses and eyeglasses.

Kids entertainment company, TeamTo has signed its first licensing deal in Italy with publisher Edizioni Play Press for its animated slapstick series, Mighty Mike.

Commonwealth Toy & Novelty has been awarded the US master plush licence for the Fun with Spot brand. New products will begin to arrive in autumn 2020. The deal was brokered by Licensing Works on behalf of The Eric and Gillian Hill Family Trust/Salspot, which is managed worldwide by Penguin Ventures.
