The Licensing Awards 2023: Live Event and What Kids Love finalists take a bow

The finalists in two more categories for The Licensing Awards 2023 can be confirmed today (18 July) – the Best Licensed Live Event and the What Kids Love consumer award (which is in collaboration with The Insights Family).

The finalists in the Retail, UK Rising Star, Licensed Retail Marketing Initiative and Licensed Promotions Campaign have already been announced, and today’s reveal means that just Product and Property are remaining.

The Best Licensed Live Event finalists are:

  • F1 Arcade in St Paul’s London from Kindred Concepts
  • The Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse on the Blackpool Seafront from Merlin Entertainments
  • Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience at Arley from Ravenswood Experiences
  • Jurassic World: The Exhibition at Excel London from Cityneon
  • Peaky Blinders: The Rise live immersive theatrical show from Immersive Everywhere
  • Peter Rabbit Garden Adventure at Blenheim Palace from Histrionic Productions
  • SAW Escape Experience London from Path Entertainment (TPEG)
  • Stranger Things: The Experience in London from Fever
  • Wallace & Gromit A Grand Way Out at Bristol from Locked In A Room
  • The Wondrous Worlds of Roald Dahl Festival of Light at Longleat from Longleat

 

Meanwhile, the What Kids Love award is the only consumer accolade in The Licensing Awards. Held in collaboration with The Insights Family, the winner will be revealed on Tuesday 12 September at the glittering evening event.

The methodology is from 19/5/2022 – 19/5/2023 for UK kids aged 3-12, looking at brands with the highest purchase (or purchase intent) power.

  • Pokémon
  • Roblox
  • The Simpsons
  • Sonic the Hedgehog
