Barbie, L.O.L. Surprise, LEGO Super Mario Luigi among Hamleys Christmas toy picks

Hamleys has become the latest retailer to unveil its top ten toys for Christmas, with a number of licensed names getting in on the act.

This year’s selection is designed to get the whole family back together, according to the retailer’s head of buying, Victoria Kay.

There is a focus on role-play and creativity, as well as more social, educational and traditional toys.

Licensed names making the shortlist include Mattel Barbie Dream House, L.O.L. Surprise Movie Magic Doll, LEGO Super Mario Luigi and Nerf Elite Flip 2.0.

Victoria also confirmed on Retail Gazette that Hamleys had started to build stock from March onwards to make sure there is product in all of its stores.

Hamleys’ top ten toys for Christmas 2021 are:

  • Magic Mixies Cauldron
  • Mattel Barbie Dream House
  • L.O.L. Surprise Movie Magic Doll
  • Ralleyz Warrior 3-in-1
  • LEGO Super Mario Luigi

  • Huggables
  • Dicii Snakes and Ladders
