Tulipop welcomes Maximum Licensing as UK agent

Icelandic character-based lifestyle brand to be represented by Sarah Fletcher.

Icelandic lifestyle brand Tulipop is eyeing growth in the UK market, appointing Maximum Licensing as its new UK agent.

Maximum Licensing – headed up by former Mind Candy and Fluid World exec, Sarah Fletcher – will look to grow the consumer products programme for the character-based brand in the territory.

Tulipop has enjoyed a recent successful expansion into the US retail market, while it has also opened its first flagship store in Reykjavik.

Tulipop’s Björg Arnardóttir said: “We see great potential for Tulipop in the UK and are extremely happy to have Sarah on board.

“With her fashion experience and her proven track record of building and commercialising successful IP across licensing, marketing, product and retail divisions she is the perfect fit to help us embark on a consumer products programme.”

Sarah added: “I am really excited to be appointed the licensing agent representing Tulipop in the UK. Having seen the success Tulipop has had in its home market of Iceland, and recently in the US, it is the perfect time to extend its reach in the UK.

“I see a real opportunity in the market for this stand out quirky, design-led lifestyle brand with broad appeal.”
