The Pokémon Company International is partnering with online retailer Zavvi to launch a special European Pokémon capsule collection across adult apparel, footwear and accessories. Launching on November 30, the collection marks the first collaboration between the two brands. The range comprises 19 items including sweatshirts, t-shirts and hoodies featuring images from a selection of the original 151 Pokémon.

Bulldog Licensing has secured a further two deals for Moose Toys’ preschool doll brand, Kindi Kids, as it reaches a healthy 82 million views on YouTube. Little Brother Books has inked a deal to produce Christmas, seasonal and activity annuals for the brand, while Texco is on board for bedding and home textiles.

In a new partnership with Riverside Brands, apparel licensee Poetic Brands has added the Early Learning Centre brand to its expanding baby, childrenswear and accessories division. The new collection will incorporate baby and childrenswear products including baby layette and fashion, as well as accessories such as baby changing bags and slings. In the children’s category, there will be daywear and accessories such as luggage, beach towels, bags and flip flops.

Swizzels has partnered with YWOW Games to create a range of puzzles based on its brands. The puzzles will be an assortment of Swizzels’ Love Hearts, as well as its Drumstick Squashies. YWOW kicked off the mini puzzles brand earlier this year with Kellogg’s and Pringles. The Swizzels deal was brokered by Blonde Sheep Licensing.

Cornish company Beer Buddies is ready to launch its fourth licensed product range, which will be part of its Icon collection. The company has produced the Original Stormtroooper from the first Star Wars movie, adding to a collection which includes Motörhead, Iron Maiden and Judge Dredd Beer Buddies.

Craft Buddy is teaming up with Disney to bring a new licensed Crystal Art range to market in spring 2021 based around popular characters. At launch, key characters will feature across all areas of the Crystal Art portfolio, with more designs and products being added to the collection across the year. Fans will be able to recreate movie characters using Crystal Art in four new notebook designs: the Pride Rock scene from The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Classic Minnie and Moana. There will also be a raft of Canvas Kits available in numerous sizes and multi-character designs.

Sir Thomas Moore, Marcus Rashford and Dominic Cummings are among the famous faces from 2020 which feature in the first ever Beano comic written specifically for grown ups. Found inside the regular Beano, the special edition – entitled BeanOLD – sees Dennis’ mum and dad looking back on the events of 2020, recounting Zoom quizzes, home schooling, delayed Bond films and toilet roll shortages.

DK has secured a strategic commercial partnership with The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Launching in 2021, DK will publish a range of children’s books, taking inspiration from art, history and culture. It will commission original text and illustration, which will be informed with commentary by The Met’s staff, works from the Museum collection and archival assets to illustrate and explore 5,000 years of art.

Hasbro has released a series of new Peppa Pig audio stories across multiple digital streaming platforms including Amazon Prime, Apple Music and Spotify among others. The ten stories are based on some of the most popular episodes of the series. They are available in English language only and will launch in batches of two every two weeks. The launch has been supported by an extensive marketing campaign across social and digital media.

Mondo TV is to represent licensing for character and lifestyle brand, Phat Kandi, in Spain and Portugal. Key category targets will include fashion, personal care, stationery and digital.

The RHS has partnered with historic South African fruit and wine farm Babylonstoren to produce RHS rosé wine. The wine will launch just before RHS Chelsea Flower Show on May 17, 2021, for which it will be the official rosé wine.

ParkAcre has launched its new PAW Patrol and SpongeBob SquarePants vitamin ranges for kids in the UK, available exclusively at Holland & Barrett.

Herschend Entertainment Studios has confirmed that Chuggington: Tales from the Rails will debut across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Poland on CBeebies, RTÉ, TF1, Super RTL and TVP ABC respectively. The series will begin to air in early 2021 following the US launch on Disney Junior and DisneyNOW in June.

Brainbase has further expanded its head count welcoming Caroline Hart to the role of director of brand and product marketing, and Sara Saadeddine as senior intellectual property account executive.
