Natural History Museum teams with Teemill to mark Dinosaur Day

In celebration of Dinosaur Day today (1 June), the Natural History Museum has launched a new dinosaur-themed apparel collection with sustainable print-on-demand clothing company, Teemill.

Featuring 11 unique designs, the collection of adult t-shirts aims to pay homage to the prehistoric creatures.

Teemill is known for its pioneering approach to sustainable clothing. Having created a UK-based circular economy for fashion, Teemill garments are designed from the start, to be sent back and remade into new products when they’re worn out as part of the Remill programme. This means that products never enter landfill.

In addition, all of itaclothing is made from GOTS certified organic cotton, in factories powered by renewable energy, with packaging made from plants, not plastic. And the print-to-order approach means zero waste.

“Dinosaurs are often assumed to be a subject for children, which is why it is so fantastic to be able to create a collection for adult fans, who still appreciate how amazing these creatures were,” commented Maxine Lister, head of licensing at Natural History Museum. “We are so excited to bring this collection to life with Teemill whose sustainable credentials are second to none.”
