TSBA welcomes trio of new brands

Gumball 3000, plus Terry O’Neill and Baron Wolman photography join portfolio.

Busy TSBA Group has added a trio of new brands to its portfolio ahead of its trip to Licensing Expo.

Firstly, the company has been appointed by Iconic Images as licensing representatives for the photography of Terry O’Neill and Baron Wolman.

Terry O’Neill is renowned for capturing fashion, style and celebrities – including David Bowie, Roger Moore and Raquel Welch – in unusual and candid ways, while Baron Wolman is best known for his work in the late 1960s with the music magazine Rolling Stone.

He captured images of stars such as Frank Zappa and Jerry Garcia, as well as the groupies who followed the musicians and events including Woodstock and The Summer of Love in San Francisco.

Licensing opportunities exist across apparel, home and housewares, gifting, back to school and stationery among other categories.

TSBA ceo Ian Mallalue said: “It is rare to be able to work with a collection of such high profile and visually striking photography.”

Alexis Venn, licensing director at Iconic Images, added: “We’re uncovering more iconic images from our archive all the time and ensuring these images are seen by the world is important to me and my colleagues.”

Meanwhile, TSBA has also signed up Gumball 3000, the lifestyle brand combining cars, music, fashion and entertainment.

The centrepiece of the brand is a week-long supercar rally through some of the world’s most iconic locations. It was launched in 1999, when founder Maximillion Cooper invited celebrity friends such as Kate Moss, Kylie and Johnny Knoxville to join him on a road trip.

TSBA’s Ian continued: “We are very excited to be working with such a unique, loved and exciting lifestyle and entertainment brand.  It really offers something new to retailers in a range of product categories who are looking for a brand to appeal to difficult to reach male demographics as well as the easier to reach kids and teens.”
