Premier Foods signs Paul Hollywood

Great British Bake Off star will launch a new line of branded home baking products.

Premier Foods has inked a new partnership with The Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood for a range of artisanal home baking products.

The products will be created in conjunction with Paul, and will aim to make artisanal baking more accessible to a wider audience.

The initial range will include 12 different bread, savoury and sweet mixes, which are expected to be in-store for early 2016.

Paul will also be heavily involved with the marketing of the new range.

The news came as Premier Foods announced its interim results for the 26 weeks ending October 3.

Branded sales in H1 increased 0.1% and 1.6% in Q2, while trading profit increased by 8.4%. Operating profit stood at £23.3 million.
