Rihanna teams with Chopard in high-end collaboration

Pop superstar has worked with luxury jewellery house on two collections.

Pop superstar Rihanna has joined forces with high-end Swiss jewellery house Chopard for a new collaboration.

The Barbados-raised mega star has taken inspiration from carnival and the gardens of Barbados for her two collections.

The first collection – Rihanna Loves Chopard Haute Joaillerie – features a Barbados carnival-inspired 18-carat rose gold and titanium necklace, layered with fancy cut and cabochon rubies, orange and yellow sapphires, tsavorites and 14 carats of turquoise beads.

There are also matching earrings, plus an 18-carat white gold bracelet and cuff, two styles of earrings with intricate floral designs and an automatic watch, according to the Robb Report.

Meanwhile, a further modern nine-piece collection – Rihanna Loves Chopard Joaillerie – features the company’s signature chain link Ice Cube motif.

New lines will be launching in July in Chopard boutiques in the US.
