In memoriam: Robert Sutherland, Redan Publishing

The chairman of the magazine publisher sadly passed away on Monday, February 19.

It is with great sadness that we report that Robert Sutherland, chairman of Redan Publishing, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19 from complications brought on by a life long illness.

A statement issued by Redan said: “Robert was a hugely popular member of the children’s magazine and licensing community and will be greatly missed by his wife, Betty, and all those who had the privilege of working alongside him during his many years at the helm of Redan Publishing.”

Robert established Redan Publishing in 1990 with current editorial director, Jenny O’Connor.

Prior to that, Robert was md of Marvel Comics for ten years.
