LIMA Australia & New Zealand award winners crowned

Marvel, emoji, L.O.L. Surprise and Fred Gaffney among those honoured at event.

The first ever LIMA Australia & New Zealand Licensing Awards has taken place.

Held on November 1 at Leonda by the Yarra in Melbourne, the inaugural event attracted a sell out crowd and also saw Fred Gaffney become the first person inducted into the LIMA Australia Hall of Fame.

LIMA Australia’s Tony Bugg commented: “The support from the industry across Australia & New Zealand was phenomenal and LIMA Australia would like to thank everyone for supporting this inaugural awards evening. A huge thanks also goes to the sponsors for being a part of the event and helping LIMA Australia to make the event a success.”

Winners included The Wiggles, L.O.L. Surprise, Marvel, emoji, Where’s Wally?, AFL: Australian Football League, The Simpsons limited edition Krispy Kreme and Showtime Attractions to name just a few.
