Beatrix Potter, Harry Potter, Mr Men among Gift of the Year finalists

Winners will be crowned at a special ceremony during Spring Fair on February 2.

The finalists for the Gift of the Year 2020 have been confirmed, with a raft of licensed names taking their place in the shortlist.

The winners will be revealed at a special ceremony at Spring Fair, which is free to attend and will take place on February 2, starting at 6pm.

The Branded Gift category is as follows:

  • Blockbuster – Big Potato Games
  • Beatrix Potter Baby Collection – Enesco
  • Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak – Wow Stuff
  • Mr Men Little Miss Love Couples – My Icon Story

In addition, the Yvonne Ellen Eclectic Glamour Beauty Range has been nominated in the Fashion Accessory category, as well as the Home Fragrance category for Wax Lyrical’s Yvonne Ellen Stacking Candles.

Judges arriving at the finalists consisted of retailers, buyers and key industry experts including companies such as John Lewis, Ocado, The National Gallery, Paper Tiger and Not on the High Street among others.

Sarah Ward, ceo of The Giftware Association, commented: “It’s great to see so many judges on live judging day; I don’t think we have had this many in one room judging the categories all at once.

“It’s incredible also to hear the feedback from the judges and how they are finding it hard to choose from the quality products. We look forward to announcing the winners at Spring Fair.”
