Wow Stuff adds brace of new recruits

Leanne Royce and Matt Eckersley add further strength to toy company’s head count.

Wow Stuff has further strengthened its head count with a brace of new recruits.

The company has welcomed Leanne Royce as senior national account manager, bringing with her many years’ experience in the toy industry gained from TOMY and Flair.

Meanwhile, Matt Eckersley takes on the role of head of ecommerce, having worked at a number of big brand consumer products manufacturers to grow their online businesses.

“We agreed Leanne and Matt joining us pre-pandemic and ahead of the lockdown so most of our staff won’t yet have met their new colleagues in person,” commented Dawn Lavalette, commercial director at Wow Stuff. “Video conferencing and our quiz evenings will be the first time to really test their metal.

“As we’ve grown our categories to now include preschool and collectables with new exciting innovation, we need to ensure channel strategies are complementary and disciplined. Leanne and Matt bolster our team and I think their personalities and attitude will make them perfect Wow! Stuff’ers.”
