National Trust unveils Wentworth Wooden Puzzles collaboration

Collection of 18 puzzles launches, showcasing the places that the conservation charity cares for.

National Trust has teamed up with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles for the launch of a new puzzle collection.

The exclusive range of 18 puzzles gives consumers the chance to recreate their favourite National Trust places, while also helping to look after them. Through sales of the collection, a minimum of £5,000 will be given to the National Trust to support its work caring for nature, beauty and history.

The wooden jigsaw puzzles are made using wood from sustainably managed forests, while the outer box is made from recycled materials. All puzzles in the National Trust collection will be completely free from single-use plastic, and instead will feature fully compostable tab closure stickers.

Some of the places featured on the puzzles include Thomas Hardy’s Cottage in Dorset, the rose gardens at Sissinghurst, Compton Castle, Half Moon Pons at Fountains Abbey, North Yorkshire and Mottisfont Rose Garden in Hampshire.

“We are delighted to be collaborating with the National Trust on this stunning new puzzle collection,” said Sarah Watson, md at Wentworth Wooden Puzzles. “The Wentworth brand and the National Trust have a long history, for decades we have made puzzles for the Trust to sell in their property shops.

“We are really pleased that we can offer this new collection of puzzles to fans of the National Trust and Wentworth Puzzles via our UK and US websites, whilst supporting the great work of the Trust through a share of the sale of each puzzle.”

Michaela Davies, brand manager for the National Trust, added: “Working with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles was a natural fit for us. After many years of stocking their range we knew that they had the sustainable qualities we look for in our suppliers.

“This collection captures the beauty of the places we care for and so many visitors love, but it also generates vital income to allow us to continue looking after these places for everyone, for ever. We hope they bring joy to people at this time, especially if they haven’t been able to visit yet.”
