Barcelona-based Art Ask Agency reveals latest licensing partnership for female icon.
Barcelona-based Art Ask Agency has revealed its latest licensing partnership for Frida Kahlo, with Olympia le Tan launching a collection of designer bags.
The new range includes a variety of hand embroidered silk thread and appliqué bags in Olympia le Tan’s distinctive style.
The French brand has built a high profile reputation for re-imagining classic book covers and transforming them into artisanal clutches and accessories. It has also previously worked with a number of licences and brands on limited edition collections.
Celebrity fans of the bags include Miranda Kerr, Natalie Portman, Katy Perry, Emma Watson and Clémence Poésy among others.
“We are proud to part of the Olympia le Tan universe and alongside Basquiat and Babar the elephant among others – Frida is in great company,” said Maria Strid, owner of Art Ask Agency.
