Jewel Branding & Licensing marking Black History Month with key launches

Agency highlights new deals from illustrators and influencers in its portfolio including Kendra Dandy, Jessi Raulet and Nikki Chu.

Jewel Branding & Licensing is celebrating Black History Month – which takes place in February across the US and Canada – by highlighting key new deals for illustrators and influencers in its portfolio including Kendra Dandy of Bouffants & Broken Hearts and Jessi Raulet of EttaVee, as well as celebrity interior designer, Nikki Chu.

For its limited edition artist series, US clothing brand Athleta joined forces with Kendra Dandy on a collection of masks and t-shirts, while Kendra’s art is also featured on the home page of Walmart.com in celebration of Black History Month.

American Greetings has partnered with Kendra to launch an end-cap collection of greeting cards, while there has been further growth across Europe with partners including Vadobag, Stationery Team and Top Creative among others. Dutch online kids clothing retailer, Kleertjes, is due to launch an exclusive Bouffants collection through licensee Retail Tribes, while Moonpig is refreshing Kendra’s collection of cards with some new sassy designs in the UK.

Additionally, Kendra has signed with Chinese sub-agent Zenulla, which is working on key promotional and product opportunities in China.

Meanwhile, Jessi Raulet’s art and design brand EttaVee is gearing up for a big 2021. LANG is releasing a new collection of calendars, stationery and gift products which will be available at the likes of Barnes & Noble and Walgreens, while American Greetings has partnered with Jessi (pictured) to create a collection of greeting cards which will be featured in an end-cap with a major national retailer.

Fit & Fresh is launching a collection of EttaVee lunch bags and lunch kits at key retailers in time for back to school in the US; Riley Blake will release a collection of apparel fabric in collaboration with Fabric.com; while Tervis has a range of drinkware. On top of this, a new collaboration for EttaVee in the home space is due to launch this summer.

Finally, Nikki Chu Home continues to be a top selling name in home fashions and décor, with the designer recently launching a collection of home products exclusively through Walmart.com.

York Wallcoverings has also recently signed to develop a unique collection of peel and stick wallpaper which is due to launch later this year.

Nikki has also recently signed with a leading home décor partner and will be introducing home décor accessories and accent furniture later this year.
